- After making an eligible purchase, your transaction will go through an approval process to ensure it meets all the criteria for earning Virgin Points. This step verifies the legitimacy and completion of your purchase.
- Points can take up to 28 days to be credited
- Once your purchase is approved, it may take up to 28 days for the points to be reflected in your Virgin Red or Flying Club account. Please be patient as this process is completed.

Refunds/returns points process

If you return a purchase or request a refund, this will be reflected in the amount of Virgin Points awarded to your balance.

If the 28 days points processing time has passed and the Virgin Points have been awarded before the items have been returned or refunded, the points earned from the items returned/refunded will be deducted from your Virgin Red account.
